1) WV professional teaching certification in Multi-Categorical Special Education K-12 (LD, BD, MI) 2) Exhibits knowledge of best practice of the WV College and Career Readiness Standards 3) Demonstrate organizational and management skills for the classroom 4) Demonstrates working knowledge IEP Development 5) Successful experience in providing instruction and behavior intervention in inclusive and self-contained settings 6) Demonstrates the ability to work within the school Mission and Core Beliefs. Responsibilities:
1) Administer assessments and provide documentation of students' progress 2) Analyze scores and performance in order to develop an instructional program for students 3) Participate in professional development opportunities to improve professional practice 4) Coordinate activities as required by IDEA for students and parents 5) Coordinate services with local agencies to provide quality instruction and services to students 6) Keep written records and documentation of student progress 7) Plan and implement personalized learning in push in, pull out, and/or co-teaching environments 8) Other duties as assigned by Principal.SUPERVISOR:
